Hi Dorothy, You can buy Rosella seed online from Green Harvest in Australia. Maybe there is a US online source too.

Growing up in Qld my Mum always made Rozella jam.While visiting the Botanical garden in Norfolk Va this summer I noticed a large thriving crop of Rozella. Where can I get the seeds to try and grow in Williamsburg.Va.

In the late 60s and early 70s we grew Rosellas at the "Log Cabin" in Glasshouse Mountains. Made heaps of jam and it was very well received. Do you think I could grow them here in Paynesville, East Gippsland Vic. (flowering hibiscus grow well in my garden). If so where is best place to buy seed and time to plant. Thanks, Beth

I would be very interested to know of a supplier of Rosella plants or seeds anywhere in the world. I have a horticultural business here in the UK and grow various tropical plants under glass. It is my intention to grow Rosella here. Thank you for any help David

Rosella plants bear a red fruit, when they are about the size of your thumb they are ready to pick. Jam making is relatively easy and am happy to share my recipe. It is a fairly tart flavour but so yummy and certainly a part of Queensland life.

A friend is growing healthy rosella shrubs, but we dont know what to harvest for the jelly, and once harvested, how do we make Rosella jelly? Appreciate any help at all. Area: Zimbabwe, Africa.
